Who are they?
MEET ALAN
Alan is an insecure brother who wants to reconnect with his sister, Aisya who is the only family that he has. This has led Alan to have Aisya by his side the moment he has the money that he wanted. Being an orphan, he is very careful with his decision so that neither he or Aisya get hurt.
Alan left their aunt’s house due to conflicting issues with her aunt, he then enrolled in a boarding school where he met Lee and Jane who quickly became his friends and partners in crime.
MEET AISYA
Aisya is a young girl who lived alone with her aunt before Alan takes her out on a road trip with him and his friends. She has been sheltered her entire life and does not openly know the world. Her position as a foreign being in the household has led her being shy and isolated because of her aunt’s family.
Right after the death of their parents, Aisya and Alan had to live with their aunt. Strict rules applied to them as they are nobody in the household. Aisya was very young when they had to live with their aunt, while Alan was big enough to fight their aunt. Aisya was then left alone after Alan left the house, leaving her growing up with no family members.
MEET LEE
Lee is very wild. His sole intention in life is to get through it without obstacles and not to take things too seriously. Knowing Alan since he was in his teen years, Lee manages to get around Alan’s
attitude and behaviour due to the adaptation of his characteristic.
Being an only child, Lee felt betrayed by his family. He never felt like needing his family after being left by them.
MEET JANE.
Jane is the strong one in the group. She is very firm with her decisions. She likes being around with Lee and Alan due to their strong friendship that was built few years prior.
Growing up with a single mother, she decides to be more independent and be stronger with herself and less reliant on other people.
Why this story?
“Now that I'm in the transition from my teenage years to my adulthood, I now can see the mistakes I’ve made and silly things I did as a teenager. All these angry emotions and irrational actions kinda make me regret and glad at the same time that I did it. This film is going to be about those things, that I have done in my teenage years.” - Syukri A. Rahim (Director)
